Tips for Accessing ChatGPT in the Classroom

  1. Please remember your ChatGPT username and password (write them down and bring them if needed). Login to ChatGPT
  2. After logging in, you’ll receive a code at your ChatGPT email address. Be ready to access that email (on your phone or the classroom computer), which means you’ll also need your email password.
  3. OpenAI now requires passwords with at least 12 characters. While your current login may still work at home, in class you won’t be able to sign in with a shorter password. If needed, reset it before coming to class, using the ‘Forgot password’ option at login.
